1. Overview

Hextech Software ("we", "us") builds custom websites and Progressive Web Apps. We take privacy seriously. We collect minimal data and we never sell your data.

2. What We Collect

  • From our site: Name, email, business name, phone if you provide it via chat, contact form, or Cal.com booking. IP address and browser for security logs.
  • From client apps we build: We build the database, but your customers' data belongs to YOU. If you host with us, we store it encrypted in MongoDB Atlas on your behalf. We do not access it except to provide support.
  • No tracking: We don't use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tracking, or sell data to brokers. We use only essential Vercel Analytics for performance.

3. How We Use Data

  • To respond to inquiries and build your project
  • To create your private GitHub repo and preview deployment
  • To send invoices via Stripe
  • To provide hosting if you opt in

4. GitHub Repo Data

If you provide a GitHub repo, you grant us temporary permission to fork it privately to our org for development. Your original repo is never modified until final payment and your explicit approval of a Pull Request. After final payment, we transfer ownership or submit PR and delete our fork if requested.

5. Data Ownership

You own 100% of your code and your customer database after final payment. You can request a full export anytime. If you host with us, we provide daily backups. If you cancel hosting, we provide export and delete our copy within 30 days unless legally required to retain.

6. Third Parties

  • Vercel: Hosting for previews and sites
  • MongoDB Atlas: Database hosting
  • Stripe: Payments (we never see card numbers)
  • GitHub: Source code hosting
  • Cal.com: Booking calls

Each has their own privacy policy. We only share what is necessary to provide service.

7. Your Rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing onboarding@hextech.software. For customer data in apps we built for you, you are the data controller — you handle GDPR/CCPA requests from your customers. We will assist you if you host with us.

8. Security

All repos are private during build. Preview links are unindexed (noindex). Data is encrypted in transit (SSL) and at rest. Access to admin dashboards requires authentication.
